In our design studio, you can pick and choose from hundreds of different interior design elements. In the studio, we have samples of countertops, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and more to browse through that you can physically put together to get a small preview of the look. This lets you see how the elements you choose will work together in the final product. There is no better way to imagine how your home will look than by seeing how all the elements, textures, and colors work together in person!
If you’re not sure exactly what look you are interested in, that’s okay. Our in-house interior designer can give you suggestions on what elements typically look good together. You will be able to consult with our designer one-on-one to choose every part of how your home will eventually look. The 4,000 square foot Grand Oak Homes Design Studio and office space features a welcoming lobby, a large meeting room, staff member offices, and its carefully crafted Design Studio. In the Design Studio, you can take a walk through staged bathrooms, kitchens, and more that feature many options you can incorporate into your own dream home. When you come to our Design Studio, it should feel like you’ve stepped into a version of interior design heaven — creating your home should feel like an exciting experience, not an arbitrary process.

Historic Building Before
Our Design Studio is located in downtown Youngsville, North Carolina in a historic building originally built in the late 1800s as a tobacco barn. Over time, the building went through many phases, eventually becoming a general store, then a feed and seed store, and finally a hardware store before it was converted into an antique store that fell into abandonment.
Clearing out the space to get it ready for construction, stabilizing the building, raising it up off of the ground to lay a new foundation, and engineering the building were just some of the preemptive steps to creating the sparkling and modern space that customers see today.
Our goal is for the Grand Oak Homes Design Studio to feel as warm and inviting to our customers as it is us — it’s truly a place that has been crafted with intention and created with love.
